This month we’re giving a warm welcome to Sr. Recruiter Jordan Shaw and Recruiter Lindsay Hornsby - two new members of the RedCloud recruiting team tasked with finding the region’s top talent to help our clients solve their most pressing business challenges! Jordan joins our team with more than 15 years of experience in Recruiting across varying industries, and Lindsay with 5+ years of experience focused on account and business development. We are honored to have their talents join our recruiting team and we can’t wait to see who they bring to the RedCloud roster in the coming months!
All new! We're excited to bring a new, learning-focused series to our blog. RedCloud experts Benny Swedberg (Practice Lead - Business Solutions and Intelligence) and Yusuf Shariff (Power Platform Senior Associate) are here to kick off our Business Solutions and Intelligence tip posts with their favorite Embedded Galleries techniques. As they dive into the details, don't hesitate to leave a comment if you have questions.
It’s an exciting time to be part of RedCloud and during 2021, we’ve taken a look at all of our practices to see where we can improve and grow. Climate change has been a hot topic this year as we see record-breaking weather patterns in the headlines left and right. Right here in the Pacific Northwest, we’re reminded quite literally of the change as we look out our windows to hazy summer days, our atmosphere left smokey from wildfires, and previously unseen triple-digit high temperatures. It leaves us wondering what we can do - and the truth is, we can ALL do something to make a change.
After a Spring hiring boom, adding 15 new employees, the growth of our team at RedCloud continues, adding another 10 team members over the last two months. We know the summer months can ebb and flow, but our momentum is going strong and we continue to create new opportunities, especially in the new reality that the hybrid work model presents for all of us.
Meet one of our top and longest-serving RedCloud consultants, Sophia Stead. Having joined RedCloud in 2016, Sophia has been an integral part of growing the firm, building our culture, and helping our clients succeed since the early days of our “relaunch” in 2015. Read on to hear all about her thoughts on working with us.
Back to school? We can’t believe it either! Those three words mark the end of summer and the kickoff to a new season of learning (our favorite!). As we look forward to rounding out the year and starting 2022 with momentum, we continue our dedication to supporting important organizations in our community with ongoing support to Solid Ground’s Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing.
We’re sharing exciting news on the RedCloud blog today! With our announcement in June that the Puget Sound Business Journal once again listed us on their annual Washington's Best Workplaces, we’re thrilled to have recently learned that we were ranked the #12 best workplace for large companies in the state, and the highest among large consulting firms.
As you may have already heard, this year a few of our team members embarked on an exciting community project in partnership with The UW Consulting and Business Development Center (CBDC). CBDC is no stranger to RedCloud, with ongoing support in years past as part of our ongoing Community program. With an exciting opportunity to press on in 2021, we were so excited to serve as mentors for the Business Management Consulting Program - all via zoom in true remote-workfashion.
As his time with RedCloud is sure to fly by in the blink of an eye, we wanted to be sure to catch some time with Antoine, our newest intern. A rising junior at the University of Washington, Antoine is set to graduate in 2023 with his Bachelor of Art in Business Administration, focusing on Finance and Information Systems. We can already tell that he’s a self-driven and ambitious individual with a bright future ahead - always seeking new knowledge and bringing his hard work ethic to the table. In his free time, he loves rugby, soccer, football and snowboarding - so he also has plenty of fun stories to share with us, too. Read on to hear more about his experience so far on our team.
Believe it or not, July marks the time for our annual team gathering. Last week, our team made their way to a familiar spot - our office’s building plaza patio area for some summer sunshine and eats (a great way to still maintain distance in the fresh, open air!). We hold ourselves accountable to a yearly gathering centered around relaxed fun for more than just the fun of it. Joining together as a team aside from the typical work jargon unlocks a new level of connection with each other. Learning about what else goes on in our lives gives us the ability to understand and maybe even spark new ideas for our work day. A big thanks to all of those that were able to join us - and to those who weren’t able to, we missed you dearly!
