Always Give Back

Although our everyday work is focused on solving business challenges, we always make time to give back to the communities in which we live and work. This is embedded in our company culture. RedCloud's long-standing partnerships with local organizations provide our team with a variety of opportunities to give back every year.

We’re proud to be involved with our community partners and regularly participate in local events, often lending a hand as volunteers. RedCloud provides support to local non-profits focused on education and seeks out new ways to empower the success of local youth.

The RedCloud team feels fortunate to be connected to Toys for Kids, a nonprofit founded by Mariners broadcaster Rick Rizzs and former center fielder Dave Henderson-- Over 90% of all donations received are used to directly benefit homeless or otherwise disadvantaged children through 8 different programs.

By collaborating with Toys for Kids and similar organizations, we aim to bring local youth the hope, joy, and resources needed to ensure successful, bright futures. Whether RedCloud is donating school supplies or giving away a scholarship, we're dedicated to providing both hands-on and financial support throughout each year.
Each year, RedCloud awards a high school student in the Seattle area a Dave “Hendu” Henderson Educational Scholarship helping students make dreams of college a reality.

I have built strength that others never wanted or believed in me to have. I realize that my dreams have become greatly potent. My strength and my smile give me the ability to reach my goals.”

Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing

RedCloud adopted Solid Ground's Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing --a safe haven for  families experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence.

Through our relationship as community partners, RedCloud and Toys For Kids donated new Microsoft tablets, type covers, and headsets to each household at Broadview to enable remote work and learning. We also developed a Career Support Program for Broadview to assist residents re-entering the workforce.

UW Foster School of Business

RedCloud provides ongoing support for the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business as part of the firm’s broader community efforts focused on education and local youth.

Volunteers from our team mentor students in the Consulting and Business Development Center (CBDC) program, advising them on solving business challenges and engaging with clients. Students finished with training work on consulting projects alongside their mentors to help small businesses in under-served communities.

Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement - or “JA” as it’s known - is the largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. RedCloud has been a proud partner of JA for years, providing volunteer support for these important, face-to-face opportunities with today’s youth.

RedCloud’s consultants enjoy hands-on mentoring opportunities through two key JA programs: JA Day, an in-classroom teaching held several times throughout the school year at local elementary schools, and JA BizTown, a simulated town in which students connect what they learned in the classroom about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy to real life.

When volunteering for JA Day, members of the RedCloud team takeover an elementary school classroom and present curriculum from a Junior Achievement program to students for part of the day.
JA BizTown is a full-on micro economy brought to life for young students. Through this hands-on learning experience, each student performs a job for the day in the town's offices, retail shops and restaurants, complete with realistic responsibilities and pay.
I loved how serious the kids were about their jobs, their reactions to being 'grownups' were priceless!"
