Between online meetings, calls and a steadily flowing inbox each day, it’s easy to zone into the laptop life without taking those much needed breaks to stand up and move. Admittedly, we’re all feeling a little tight in our muscles with our now ‘normal’ work-from-home setups. The kitchen table, or a desk that is a little too low with mismatched chairs, laptops that force our necks at odd angles… we’re using what we have, adapting around our partners, roommates, or kids also working at home. With a remote work set-up down pat at this point, we thought it was time to shake things up a bit all in the name of fun, team connection, and healthy living. Beginning with RedCloud’s own Managing Partners, across the org to account managers, consultants and our recruiters, there is an underlying belief in and practice the importance of physical exercise to become more well rounded and balanced in our everyday lives. We believe an active lifestyle sets us all up for being better at every other aspect of our daily lives, including at home, in our relationships with others, and in our daily client work. It also sets a good example to the kids schooling remotely at home - a good reminder for them to prioritize healthy movement, too.
To that end, RedCloud is excited to have kicked-off a new employee benefit - our RedCloud-specific workouts with a trainer to the stars - celebrity trainer Valerie Waters. She's trained everyone from Bradley Cooper to J.Lo to Jennifer Garner...and she's now taking on team RedCloud in private, online workout sessions. Are we intimidated by her client list? Maybe. Are we inspired to get more active? Definitely! With our first group workout recently held, we’re offering our employees live online sessions ongoing with Val to bring out the best in all of us and help us achieve our personal goals for healthy living. And, we’re upping the ante to make it fun, too! Prizes like exercise gear and swag are at stake for those who participate.
