Meet RJ, a valued Tech Recruiter on our team. With more than 15 years of experience in recruiting, RJ’s strengths lie in solution-based and strategic thinking. He brings an entrepreneurial spirit to RedCloud and considers himself a risk taker with a passion for getting it all done - and done well! In his free time, he enjoys traveling and loves board games, tech, fantasy and sci-fi movies, video games and puzzles. Fun fact: RJ was once a nationally ranked chess player! RC: Briefly describe your role and how long you've been at RedCloud.
RJC: I’ve been with RedCloud for 1.5 years serving as a Senior Tech Recruiter. RC: What was it like to join RedCloud (onboarding process)? RJC: The process of joining RedCloud was the easiest and smoothest I’ve ever experienced. From the moment my resume was submitted to RedCloud to my first day, everything was seamless. What was especially noticeable is that I had started a couple weeks before the pandemic lockdown and the transition to working remotely was also very seamless. RC: Given your background and other experiences, what stands out to you with RedCloud? RJC: RedCloud stands out for their integrity. That’s important for me. In business, it’s tempting to take shortcuts or bypass processes to try and leapfrog the competition. However, that is high risk and has a great chance of backfiring. My motto is to ‘be present, be consistent’ and I see RedCloud taking that approach towards business, which I appreciate. RC: What originally drew you to RedCloud? RJC: The people that work here. There were a couple of consultants that I had previously hired and/or worked with at previous places of employment. They had made positive comments about being part of the RedCloud team. Also, I’ve known fellow RedCloud Recruiter, Kelly Lynch, for a very long time. Being good friends she’d always told me about how much she enjoyed being a part of the team at RedCloud and how much she enjoyed working with the managing partners. With these two dynamics, I was sold on RedCloud. RC: Where do you see the future of consulting or the future of RedCloud? RJC: I feel like the business of consulting will expand as technology becomes more and more a central component of society. RedCloud is positioned ahead of the wave. RC: Name one piece of technology you couldn’t live without and why? RJC: I couldn’t live without my Surface! I take a lot of notes (using OneNote) and use it daily to keep track of things and stay organized. RC: What are you looking forward to the most this year with RedCloud? RJC: Continued growth and expansion. Comments are closed.
