Michael Ernst is one of our newest faces at RedCloud, joining the team in February as a Senior Project Manager with over 15 years of industry experience. His main role focuses on helping his client’s Marketing Managers and Brand Strategists to create marketing plans for individual marketing moments. In short, he’s tasked with creating and executing plans to produce marketing materials. Outside of his role at RedCloud you might catch him brewing beer as the Owner of Hemlock State Brewing Co. (we’re excited to see what this quarantine brews up for them!). With the added challenge of being remote at the beginning of his time with us, we connected with him to see how he’s doing and to hear more about what he’s up to. RC: Briefly describe your role and how long you’ve been at RedCloud.
ME: I’m a video producer and project manager, working on Microsoft 365 products – which means I work with business partners, creative teams, and production companies to make sure projects keep moving forward on time, stay on budget, and on strategy. RC: What was it like to join RedCloud (onboarding process)? ME: It was a very smooth process. Everything was very organized and very painless. RC: Given your background and other experiences, what stands out to you with RedCloud? ME: I was impressed mostly by how well organized and smooth getting set up and onboarded was. RC: What originally drew you to RedCloud? ME: Coming to RedCloud was actually a happy surprise. I had worked in the studio at Microsoft until about a year ago. When I was ready to come back they connected me to RedCloud. RC: Where do you see the future of consulting or the future of RedCloud? ME: I think consulting will continue to flourish, and I think RedCloud is in a great place to take advantage of that. RC: Name one piece of technology you couldn’t live without and why? ME: My coffee maker…which is pretty self-explanatory. RC: What are you looking forward to the most this year with RedCloud? ME: I think right now, in the middle of COVID-19 lock down, I’m most looking forward to actually connecting with other members of the team in person. It’s amazing how everything that’s happened in the last couple months have changed my answer. Comments are closed.
