Joining our team back in January of 2020, Andrew Buswell, joined RedCloud as Senior Consultant, jumping right into his role as the lead Project Manager for his client’s large migration project. A United States Marine Corps Veteran, Andrew joins our team with not only a strong dedication to teamwork and leadership, but also with years of experience in project management, event management and business strategy. We were lucky to find a moment to chat with Andrew about his experience on our team so far. RC: Briefly describe your role and how long you've been at RedCloud.
AB: I am tasked as the lead project manager for my client’s fiscal year migration as it relates to their events workstream. Most of the day-to-day work sits firmly in project, business, and communications management, while interfacing between events, engineering, and the GDC (Global Demand Center) teams to ensure a smooth transition during fiscal year migration. Fiscal year migration as it relates to events includes all changes in taxonomy, event dependencies, and governance. RC: What was it like to join RedCloud (onboarding process)? AB: The work I’m doing is independent, which made onboarding to RedCloud and with the client a quick process. RC: Given your background and other experiences, what stands out to you with RedCloud? AB: Within the consulting space RedCloud offers a boutique-ish feel to the client. It’s challenging to stand out in a sea of larger agencies all trying to be different, but RedCloud appears to have made its own splash with white glove treatment for clients. RC: What originally drew you to RedCloud? AB: The size of the agency and reputation within the Microsoft vendor community. RC: Where do you see the future of consulting or the future of RedCloud? AB: It’s exciting to think about the seamless integration and offerings in the marketing sector that RedCloud can now provide given the recent acquisition of BuzzBee! The emphasis on solid business management will stay consistent, but this new chapter could provide a new one stop shop for clients looking to fill marketing roles on their team. RC: Name one piece of technology you couldn’t live without and why? AB: Travel and tourism technology, although I haven’t been using many of those offerings over the last year of COVID ☹ RC: What are you looking forward to the most this year with RedCloud? AB: Personally, I’m looking forward to continuing to grow with new and existing clients. There is growth happening in tech, and I’m thankful to be along for the ride! Comments are closed.
