RC: Briefly describe your new role and what you’re looking forward to about it?
KS: I joined RedCloud as an Account Development Manager which was a new position created for me. During the hiring process, and later, after I joined, I was able to see for myself, RedCloud takes the time to meet and work with candidates and new employees, assessing their strengths and talents so they can find the right fit. I am looking forward to sharing RedCloud with more business leaders in the area and contributing to their growth and my growth along the way.
Despite a perception that you either “have it” or you don’t…public speaking is not a soft skill. Just ask nationally recognized voice coach, and trainer of thousands of professionals Alicia Dara, she would know. She has helped CEOs, managers, and even Presidential candidates find their voice and put it to work. Needless to say, we were thrilled to have her as a guest speaker at our latest Lunch and Learn series event to provide our consultants unique professional development opportunities.
RedCloud’s annual Summer Family and Friends BBQ was held on Tuesday, July 23 at the Novelty Hill Januik Winery. Novelty Hill Januik is a top-rated Washington winery and it was the perfect spot to unwind and celebrate the mid-year mark of 2019 as a team with those that support us along the way.
Recently, and for the 4th year in a row, a team of RedCloud consultants and HQ staff spent a day as elementary teachers for our annual “JA Day” in partnership with Junior Achievement of Washington. JA of Washington is a non-profit with a mission to support and inspire young students to succeed in their future endeavors.
If you asked 10 of your friends how long they have been at their current job, a small percentage would have been with one company, in a similar role or position, for more than three years, let alone a decade. As our society is going through an underlying shift in how professionals approach their careers, most people stay at a position for an average of three to five years.
In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics tracked a group of younger baby boomers in a longitudinal study to find that workers over the last several decades averaged more than 11 jobs in their careers. As Gen X and Millennials soon become the largest portion of our workforce, that data-point will continue to rise in number of jobs in a lifetime. It’s about time we embrace flexibility.
Tracking industry trends, new team members bring expertise in cloud, enterprise and critical infrastructure security
BELLEVUE, Wash. As issues of cyber security become paramount across all industries, RedCloud’s addition of new team members include two experts in the areas of cloud, enterprise, and critical infrastructure security. These particular individuals will help identify, address, and prevent data-breaches for clients.
BELLEVUE, Wash. (February 20, 2018) – Across any industry that utilizes operational staff, standard workforce management (WFM) practices are implemented to derive the most value from the labor. These practices are used to calculate workload, predict work arrival patterns, and plan and schedule staff to respond to that workload.
The client strives to organize resources and tools to leverage the most efficient and cost-effective way to act on their core value of delivering an outstanding customer experience, regardless of time of day, region of the world, language spoken, modality chosen, or a consumer vs commercial customer basis.
It’s no secret that our regional, state, and even local economies are some of the hottest in the entire nation. The Pacific Northwest draws thousands of new tech and “gig economy” workers here to live, work, and thrive. Having been anchored in this community for more than two decades, RedCloud has been fortunate to have seen growth first-hand. Since our firm’s distinct pivot in 2015 towards business and IT consulting, we’ve helped drive some of that regional growth ourselves.
