As part of our ongoing community efforts, RedCloud’s recruiting team will hold a monthly career day with Broadview to offer in-kind career coaching, job searching assistance and employment support for parents to re-enter the workforce. Knowing that the residents of the shelter are going through the toughest times of their lives, we’re grateful that we can offer our professional expertise and wisdom to them to help guide them in a positive direction.
Meet David and Sydney, two of RedCloud’s latest interns!
David dove right in, the RedCloud way, using all that he has learned so far at the University of Washington at the Foster School of Business to help with both research and client facing projects. We’re confident after working with David that he’ll not only nail his next position in the consulting industry, but will also graduate in the Spring of 2022 as a true asset to our industry and clients. Sydney also experienced a breadth of projects in her time at RedCloud, ranging from external and internal, even working directly with our Managing Partners to run critical community and client projects. Graduating this Spring from Seattle University, we’re confident she’s well on her way to a career full of success and accomplishments. We commend them both for their ability to bring value to our team during the pandemic. Read on to hear about their experiences firsthand.
Four years ago, our Managing Partner Brett Clifton stepped up to give back to our community focusing on cause close to his heart by joining the advisory board of the University of Washington Foster School’s Consulting and Business Development Center (CBDC). The CBDC takes higher education one step further with real-life experience for students working on their undergrad degrees or MBA’s, giving them invaluable experience to use when they head into the business world upon graduation. As part of Brett’s leadership of the CBDC, RedCloud consultants have played an active role in the past in judging business plan competitions and mentoring students who are learning about consulting and its real world applications.
Happy New Year! With some time off during the holidays, our team members had a chance to dive into the all new “RedCloud Recipes” cookbook, released just before the holiday season in an effort to bring our team together through shared experiences in the kitchen.
Happy holidays from our team at RedCloud Consulting! For reasons big and small, 2020 has thrown everything it has at all of us, and we’re fortunate and grateful to see a bright future ahead thanks to our resolute team and our dedicated clients. But we know that 2020 has severely impacted many in our local communities…
To that end, starting this holiday season and continuing through 2021, on behalf of our clients RedCloud is adopting Solid Ground's Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing - a safe haven at a secure location for mothers and kids experiencing homelessness. As we near the end of 2020 (a chapter we’re all ready to move on from!), we continue to build the depth and breadth of our team. Despite the rocky roads and curveballs we all were thrown, Team RedCloud has proudly charged onward with positive attitudes and continued white glove support to our clients - constants in our approach to business and partnership! While the year brought challenges to the plate, we feel lucky to have the best team to work through it all with. 2021, here we come!
Are you interested in joining Team RedCloud? We’d love to hear from you! Reach out to us if you’re interested in a role at RedCloud. The holidays are fast approaching and year-end client projects are getting ready for that final push. This time of year also gets us excited about another annual tradition in our work with the young people of our communities. As part of our ongoing work to empower local kids with access to education and technology, we partner with Toys for Kids - an outstanding local organization who helps children of all socioeconomic backgrounds be better prepared for school and life.

For the past 3 years, Matt has been expanding expertise in and advocating for the adoption of solutions which use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Power Platform. In his personal life, he enjoys spending time with his 15-year-old German Shepherd, playing hockey or golf, and entering into the World Series of Poker every summer. Read on to hear about his favorite quarantine activity! As the world continues to shift in a variety of ways, we stay focused on what RedCloud can do in support of the collective, long-term success of our clients, team, and our community as a whole. This includes adding to our team as our offerings and services evolve. With our exciting news of launching the Business Solutions and Intelligence Practice and earning another spot on the annual Puget Sound Business Journal’s Fastest Growing list, we believe the best is still to come for us! As we adapt to the ongoing dynamics of the pandemic, we look to different ways to make everything happen for our clients and are confident that our new team members will be essential in getting us there.
