23 Oct Three Years in the Top 10: Leading the Consulting Industry in Sustained Growth
Exciting news strikes again for an already exhilarating year here at RedCloud. Consulting Magazine has named RedCloud to their list of America’s fastest growing firms for the third consecutive year. Following up our #1 ranking last year (2017), we came in just one notch down at #2 with a 856% growth rate over a three-year term. Since our pivot towards business and IT consulting in 2015, we’ve set down a path of growth not just for the sake of expanding, but rather see the high growth figures as a product of our approach grounded in integrity and transparency, leading to success for our clients and consultants. We acknowledge that these large growth figures can’t last forever, but sustaining in the top 10 for three years, and top 2 the last several years is a stat we’re over the top proud of for our team and those clients we serve.
Based on our track record of high growth, as part of this year’s Consulting Magazine award week our Managing Partner Brett Alston was invited to participate in the magazine’s annual industry forum titled Focus of the Firm – Managing Projects for Maximum Profitability. Brett was on stage with other leaders from high growth firms, each with a unique perspective on the state of the industry and approaches to building a company in today’s market. It was a diverse and well placed panel of experts, with varying successful approaches to growth including venture-backed acquisition (a rarity in professional services to say the least), to large international moves, or more traditional boutique sized M&A activities, as well as rapid expansion of staffing augmentation to support a booming economy.
“It is humbling to be recognized for the third straight year for our approach to the consulting industry, and refreshing to hear ideas from other pioneers from across our diverse sector,” said Alston. “I came away feeling more inspired than ever about both the state and future of the consulting industry, but also our unique, regional approach to delivering our clients with today’s needs, while providing captivating projects for our consultants. A big thanks to the Consulting Magazine team and the other panelists.”
During 2018 alone, RedCloud added employees across both external and internal departments to stay ahead of the needs for our clients and bolster our processes and operations to fully support our growth. From adding expert consultants in cyber security and business intelligence and analytics, to building out core functions in HR and operations, we feel well positioned for 2019 and beyond. This is particularly true considering our new office expansion earlier this year which provides a modern, collaborative setup for our team to learn from each other’s experiences across a variety of client industries.
In such a competitive and talented marketplace, we’re honored to be recognized again this year by the good people at Consulting Magazine. Our dedication to remaining simple, yet highly-effective in matching our experts with varying client needs, grounded in transparency and integrity, resonates for everyone involved.
