02 Oct In the Spotlight: Meet Paul Malhi, RedCloud’s New Account Director
Known to friends and colleagues as Paul – Satinderpaul Malhi joins our RedCloud team with more than a decade of wide ranging experience in the consulting industry – starting as a management consultant, growing into several key leadership roles across strategy, sales, and operations at several successful regional firms. He comes with an industry reputation as a natural decision-maker and relationship-builder, a perfect fit for RedCloud’s continuation of rapid growth to end 2018 and beyond. As an Account Director, Paul’s focus will primarily be on business development within the firm’s existing client footprint, as well as opening doors at Pacific Northwest Fortune 500 companies.
Paul was attracted to RedCloud because his new position gives him a chance to get back to interfacing face-to-face with clients – something he has always enjoyed and thrived at in consulting.
“I’ve always considered myself a problem solver for my clients, so I’m stoked to be back in a customer-centric role where I can partner with RedCloud’s clients to evaluate what success look likes for individuals and for an organization,” said Malhi.
Never without his phone, he’s ready at a moment’s notice to help a customer out. Paul is also excited to join the team for the firm’s ongoing dedication to honesty and transparency. “It felt like a natural fit from the beginning because of the way RedCloud approaches business: genuinely in the best interest of the client and the consultant. They focus on making customers happy the right way, with a human approach. RedCloud is in it for the long-term for both clients and consultants.”
“Paul is an exciting addition to the RedCloud family. He brings such a strong leadership background in our industry that our team members are sure to benefit greatly from. Through the years, I’ve had the pleasure of providing mentorship to Paul and saw him grow to be a great fit for RedCloud given his strength in customer interaction,” said Brett Alston, Managing Partner at RedCloud. “While he focuses on driving new opportunities for our teams of consultants, his wide ranging experience will benefit us in many more ways. He’s the kind of person you want on your side, good for business, but even better for our people.”
Paul’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Information Systems from Seattle University and Judicial Studies from the Michigan State University College of Law. In his free time, he is a dedicated family man and father to his young son and an avid sports fan and outdoorsman, exploring the PNW with his camera in hand. He also spends time as a volunteer coach with Boys and Girls Club, and is heavily involved in his Sikh temple where he helps families navigate the high education system including scholarships, applications, and other career guidance.
