10 May 10 Minutes with Amanda Jaeger: RedCloud Senior Associate
Joining in Q1 of 2018, Senior Associate Amanda Jaeger came to RedCloud with 11 years of combined experience in management consulting and litigation consulting. Her past roles include several key roles in the consulting industry, as well as an Analyst for a leading software company – making her the perfect fit for RedCloud with knowledge on both sides of our business.
Amanda also brings leadership to our team with experience managing projects in multiple industries including software, telecommunications, health care and retail. We recently had the chance catch up with her after a busy start with RedCloud to hear first impressions and how things are going on project.
RC: Briefly describe your role and how long you’ve been at RedCloud.
AJ: I’m new to the team in 2018, joining just after the New Year. As a Senior Associate, I spend most of my time keeping client service as a top priority, connecting our tactical work with the overarching goals of our clients and their lines of business.
RC: Given your background and other experiences, what stands out to you with RedCloud?
AJ: The project work really stands out – both roles I have had are more interesting than anything I did prior in consulting. This role feels like the true business consulting work I have been seeking. I also appreciate how collaborative we are from the top down.
RC: What originally drew you to RedCloud?
AJ: The leadership drew me to RedCloud. I previously worked with Brett Alston and was impressed with how someone at his level still truly cares about his employees and their success.
RC: Where do you see the future of consulting and the future of RedCloud?
I think consulting will always have a place as companies may not have the required skills in house, or they do not know their long term needs to feel comfortable creating new full-time positions. RedCloud’s future is exciting given its incredibly fast growth. With Brett Alston and Brett Clifton at the helm, I am certain the future will hold continued growth.
RC: Name one piece of technology you couldn’t live without and why?
AJ: I know this is far from creative, but my iPhone. With three kids, I use it for pretty much everything – email, photos, uploads to the cloud, banking, music and commerce. I also use Alexa very frequently, including random Amazon purchases for those things I always forget to buy at the store.
RC: What are you looking forward to the most this year with RedCloud?
AJ: I look forward to witnessing the continued growth firsthand, and more interactions with all the great people that work here.
