01 Feb Review and Projections for 2018
BELLEVUE, Wash. (February 1, 2018) – The New Year is a special time because it creates a natural interruption. It marks the ending of a year, one more lap around the sun, and provides time to reflect, recharge and focus on the next sprint. RedCloud had a solid year of growth during 2017 in terms of business, clients, employees, capabilities and events to bring us together and to impact our community. In 2017 we were was named the #1 Fastest-Growing Private Company in Washington State by the Puget Sound Business Journal and placed on our second consecutive Inc. 5000 by Inc. Magazine thanks to a three-year growth rate of nearly 700%.
We closed out the year with an awesome turn out for our first ever RC Racer event – The Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run – a fantastic opportunity for our consultants and their families to support the community in which we operate. As we open the calendar to 2018, we are extremely focused and deliberate about accelerating across both business and community growth.
Speaking of growth, we all know and feel our region’s growth in myriad ways but this time-lapse video over the last few years taken from the Space Needle captures it beautifully. Along those lines, we’re happy to announce that early in 2018 we’re expanding our HQ offices in our current location. This expansion will provide the needed space for both our corporate team who supports consultants in the field, and to build out a consultant “home base”, providing a community space for our team to stop in and work and connect when not on client sites. We look forward to celebrating the growth together with an office housewarming in our new space – be on the look out for more details soon.
Early in 2018 our commitment to our community takes center stage, as five RedCloud employees will participate as judges in the UW Foster School of Business’ largest business plan competition of the year. MBAs and Undergraduate student teams will be put to the test with a real-world Consulting Challenge. This event is focused on helping students build practical skills and confidence.
Other events and opportunities abound in 2018 for us to continue both financial and pro bono consulting service support to our other partners at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound, Rad Racing NW, Junior Achievement of Washington and Toys for Kids. Giving back and actively participating in the community is at the core of RedCloud’s foundation and will always stay an important focus in the years to come.
No better way to start a new year by being proud of our team, our work on behalf of clients and the community as we continue to build a firm based on integrity and transparency. Cheers to 2018!
