30 Aug 10 Minutes with new Senior Associate Nicole Hill
We recently had the chance to sit down with one of the newest additions to our team, Senior Associate Nicole Hill.
Nicole will start by contributing her project management expertise to our Microsoft account in the worldwide education sector. With six weeks under her belt at RedCloud, we took some time to ask her about her experience so far, why she joined us and what’s ahead.
Describe the “onboarding” process with RedCloud – what have you enjoyed, what has surprised you?
“I enjoyed the chance to sit down and talk to all the managing partners before entering my role face-to-face. It felt very personal and connected me to RedCloud, which is rare in the consulting world. The one-on-one conversation was mostly work related but I felt I had a chance to also make some connections on a personal level right away with leadership. Before officially starting, I was also invited to attend the RedCloud employee happy hour to meet the other consultants. Last month, I had the chance to go to the company BBQ where I met fellow consultants and their families.”
Given your background and other experiences, what stands out to you in your first few weeks with RedCloud?
“In just one and a half months of working with RedCloud, I have already made so many personal connections, which is huge for me. The managing partners have also joined me in client meetings for a face-to-face to check-in, which is rare in this world.”
What originally drew you to RedCloud?
“I was drawn to RedCloud by their mission statement. It’s hard to find integrity-based firms within this market, and I really appreciated that they stand on their morals and their actions back that up. It immediately drew me in and made RedCloud stand out as an employer.”
Name one piece of technology you couldn’t live without and why?
“My UV filtering Nalgene Water Bottle. After enough hiking/camping and international travel trips, that thing has saved me more often than my iPhone or Surface ever could!”
What are you looking forward to the most in your first year with RedCloud?
“I enjoy new challenges and new growth opportunities, in a supportive, honest and highly ethical team atmosphere, which is why I came here.”
